Nicolas Birtz, known as Birtze Néckel, was a young player for Stade Dudelange. After completing his school exams at Staer Kolléisch, he began working in 1940 as a civil servant at Arbed. During the war, he became a member of the Resistance group Alweraje and distributed their leaflets and newspapers in Dudelange. On 19 August 1942, he was arrested and deported to the Hinzert concentration camp, later to Natzweiler and its satellite camps. Denis Scuto retraced his path of resistance and suffering, as well as those of other football players or football officials.

The event will be held in Luxembourgish, with a simultaneous translation into French on site.
