Imagined with the Ferroforum*, the worker’s ball Feierôwend! aims to plunge the public back into the festive atmosphere that made the “iron metropolis” famous beyond its role in the industry. Offering a (re)living of something from labor history in the very heart of the factory, Feierôwend! displaces and reinvents our relationship with the industrial past. To celebrate the festive working-class life of the Minett region, Luciano Pagliarini and his orchestra will kick off the festivities with their “Danzmusek” and the Loon Djs will follow with their “retroplatinodisco,” featuring vintage vinyl, until late into the night.
*The Ferroforum is an association that works to preserve and promote the cultural, industrial, and artisanal heritage as well as the know-how around the creation of iron and steel.
